There is 1 MB of VRAM soldered on the motherboard. There are three 1 MB VRAM DIMM sockets which, combined with the motherboard VRAM, are configured as two 2 MB banks.

There are three possible configurations, although the machine ships with a minimum of 2 MB:
-- 1/2 Bank ( 1 MB, 32-bit data path )
-- 1 Bank ( 2 MB, 64-bit data path )
-- 2 Banks ( 4 MB, 64-bit data path ).

This computer has built-in hardware for acceleration of some QuickDraw functions.
